Benefit for critical illness coverage
As a shareholder, you will receive a 10 percent increase in Mandatum's severe illness compensation amount. The benefit is valid for one year at a time and applies only to new contracts.
A serious illness surprises one in five Finns* during the most active phase of their lives. The lump-sum compensation from the insurance gives you time to reorganize your daily life and living conditions on your own terms. You can use the compensation, for example, to cover medical expenses, pay off loans, or manage everyday running costs. The coverage includes cancer, coronary artery bypass surgery, heart attack, kidney failure, multiple sclerosis, stroke, and organ or bone marrow transplant as defined in the insurance terms.
